WEB EDITOR - Appetite
BASIC FUNCTION
The Web Editor is primarily responsible in charge of determining, implementing and maintaining the overall look, voice and content of the website. He/She is tasked with overseeing/managing online day-to-day operations to ensure the timely delivery of content. He/She is also expected to be knowledgeable on food news/features, recipe selection/development and cooking methods or techniques, and be able to translate these through appropriate online editorials, reports and other related stories.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* College graduate of Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, Culinary Arts/Studies or any related course;
* Has at least two (2) years of online writing & editorial work experience;
* Has interest in and exposure to areas relevant to the theme of Appetite;
* Knowledge of internet journalism;
* Able to do writing, editing and layout;
* Has excellent oral and written communication skills;
* Must be a highly organized person and has the ability to meet tight deadlines;
* Articulate, Creative, Sociable, Committed to Excellence, Driven, Energetic, High Integrity, Well-connected, Fashionable, Detail-oriented, has Fine Taste and has High Tolerance for stress;
* Has interest and/or exposure in the food industry;
* Please provide or send in sample writing works about food news/features along with your application.
