Job Opening: News Editor for ChinaScope Financial
Job Responsibilities:
  • Write/edit economic and financial news stories in both Chinese and English on a daily basis
  • Translate Chinese articles into English and adapt them for an international customer
  • Maintain news database, update database in a timely and accurate manner
Working with ChinaScope:
  • Maintain an environment oriented to honesty and integrity, fairness and respect, team spirit, accountability and trust
  • Focus on accuracy, attention to detail and constant improvement for high individual and team performance
  • Report errors and problems immediately to team leader when can’t resolve the issue by oneself
Requirements:
  • Must have a university degree or be in the final year of studying for one, ideally major in English, journalism, business, finance or economics
  • Ability to write concisely and clearly in English editing, especially for appropriate wording
  • Understanding of the economic and financial field, keen attention to related news abilities
