Innovation/ Technology Journalism Fellows Wanted for The International Center for Journalists (Egypt/ Jordan/ Tunisia)
Based in Egypt, the Fellow will create a dedicated group of journalists and digital technology experts that becomes a permanent hub of innovation in the Middle East. The goal: transform the way news and citizen media use digital technology to share information in the public interest. The Fellow will coordinate group activities that tap into and create mobile, multimedia, online data analysis, and social and interactive Web media applications to improve the way local media find, analyze and report news in their country. The Fellow should have the journalism and digital technology experience needed to understand the unique needs of the journalism and tech communities and be able to facilitate collaboration between them.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 10 years of combined experience in journalism, and Web and mobile technologies (reporting and/or development)
- Experience in Egypt, Jordan and/or Tunisia preferred
- Fluency in Arabic
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial skills
- Excellent organizational skills
