The Church History Association of India Essay Contest

The Church History Association of India, based at Serampore College in Kolkata, will conduct an all-India essay contest as part of its year-long platinum jubilee celebrations.

The topic of the contest is ‘Preservation of Indian Christian monuments and landmarks'. Separate contests would be held in three categories of seminary students, college students and others. Cash prizes of Rs.8,000, Rs.5,000 and Rs.2,000 would be given to the first, second and third prize winners respectively in each category.

Prizes will be distributed at the 15th triennial conference of the association to be held at Hyderabad from October 6 to 9. The entries, in 1,000 to 1,500 words, should be sent to Varghese Perayil, (Mob. 09447359139), Perayil, Adoor P.O., Pathanamthitta-691523 on or before July 17.
