CPDS Creative Writing Contest (Palestine)
Deadline: 15 April 2011 (prisoner's day), 10 May 2011 (nakkba)

Centre for Political & Development Studies' Creative writing contest

CPDS is honoured to announce a contest in Creative Writing in two fields:

1- Prisoners' Day occasion

2- Nakkba


Conditions and guidelines:

1- The piece could be a poem, a short story, or a nonfiction article (no-journalistic).

2- It should address the two issues mentioned above

3- A participant can contribute to one entry or both.

4- More than one contribution is encouraged.

5- There is no word limit. The piece can be as short as a paragraph/stanza or as long as a very long short story.

6- Deadlines: Prisoner's Day pieces should be submitted by 15 of April. Nakkba Day should be submitted by10 of May.

7. There is no word limit

CPDS is a non-for-profit organization concerned with fostering young Palestinian talents and conveying the true image of Palestine cause in the right way."
