Hong Kong’s largest cancer charity, is seeking a part-time English editor to assist with editing, copywriting, drafting and proofreading of marketing and other ad hoc communication materials, including Cancer Fund’s website.

The candidate should be proficient in English (preferably Native English Speaker), and knowledge of Chinese will be an asset.

We are looking for someone with a passion to communicate the vision of the Cancer Fund and appreciate the many donors who generously support our work.
Part time English Editor

Responsibilities:

* Prepare, write and edit copy to improve readability,
* Help to edit and write copy for marketing and fundraising collaterals including newsletters, thank you letters, presentations, fundraising proposals, education and service brochures and materials
* Assist English Editor to develop story or content ideas for fundraising appeals, considering target reader or audience appeal

Requirements:

* University graduate or above
* 2 years of relevant editorial experience
* Excellent command of English
* Proficient in MS Office application
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
* Self-starter, diligent and a team player
