We are an established publisher with popular magazine titles in our portfolio such as Eh!, Female, Going Places, Glam, Golf Digest, Her World, Icon, Marie Claire, Men's Health, NuYou, Seventeen, Shape & The Peak. In line with our expansion needs, we are on the lookout for talented and committed individuals to join our team.
Editor - (Seventeen Magazine) (Selangor - Petaling Jaya)
Responsibilities:
* To work closely with graphic designers to achieve the desired look and feel for the magazine.
* Working with the sales team to build a stronger relationship with the advertisers.
* Responsible for all editorial aspects of the magazines.
* Leading the editorial team which consists of writers and/or section editors.
* Working with the web team to help formulate the magazine’s online content.
* Planning, translating and proofreading printing or written material for publication purposes.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Professional Diploma / Degree in any field.
* Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
* Experience in magazine publishing is an added advantage.
* Must have subbing experience.
* At least 5 years of working experience in a related field is preferred.
* Able to work independently as well as in a team.
* Able to work within tight deadlines.
* Ability to work under pressure independently and with the team.
* Preferably able to start work immediately.
