Tung Wah College (“College”) is a new college established by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals as a self-financing tertiary education institution to offer programmes predominantly at the undergraduate level. The College is in its final stage of registration and is expected to offer its first 4-year bachelor degree programme this September and other programmes shortly
after that.
The College is aiming to become a distinctive tertiary institution with a very unique teaching model and programmes. In order to position itself clearly to compete with the small to medium size UGC funded and self-financing non-research focused institutions, TWC is determined to create its own special niche which will be attractive to students, teachers and administrators.
TWC treasures its people as its most important resource, its vital human capital. It therefore strives to get the most suitably qualified people and place them appropriately in terms of their expertise, potential for development and leadership qualities. It seeks those with the passion and capacity to create the unique learning environment which inspires students to integrate the underpinning theory with practical experience that is outcomes-based.
