We are a research firm founded by former financial journalists. We perform due diligence ON executives on behalf of our clients -- large investors who want to better understand the track records, reputations and capabilities of the management teams they are considering investing in.
We are seeking 1-2 former business journalists who are fluent in BOTH Chinese and English to help my firm conduct standard "due diligence" on management teams of Chinese companies.
Must have solid journalism experience with -- and references from -- accredited news organizations.
Besides the language requirement, we are looking for candidates with excellent research, reporting and phone/interview skills, and a strong grasp of business, finance and investing. We want you to be curious, driven, thorough, objective and meticulous. Investigative reporting experience is welcome but not necessary.
Applicants can be based in the U.S., China or elsewhere.
Pay is good, and on a per-project basis.
