Call for Submissions: Bloomsbury Qatar's Marine-Related Stories Project
Deadline: 26 March 2011

Short stories or essays written by the general public about the theme of marine life in general or Qatar’s marine history in either English or Arabic.

Contributors are requested to submit their entries by email to bqfp.events@qf.org.qa or at the Bloomsbury stand at the Qatar Marine Library at Katara, the Cultural Village.

Deadline to enter is Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. by either email or submitting on site.

Judges will review the entries to determine if any are acceptable for publication. Please see below for the guidelines.

Short Stories or Essay Guidelines for Marine Related Stories

• Submissions must be between 750-1,500 words
• Responding to the theme of "marine life”
• Maximum of two stories or essays by the same person
• English or Arabic entries welcome
