The Malate Literary Folio, De La Salle University-Manila’s official art & literary publication, will be holding its annual Malate Convention for the Arts on February 19, 2010 (Saturday), from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Y509.
This will be a seminar wherein prominent Filipino artists, photographers and writers are invited to lecture on their craft. This year, particularly, the convention centers on new perspectives on literature and visu...al arts, the shift of form and position/perspective from the conventional art in the country. The convention aims to gather students and art followers in one venue to be able to discuss the mentioned shift.
For the Convention we've invited renowned artists and writers to talk about their craft. Namely,
Everyone is invited to attend! If you're not from DLSU, please send a personal e-mail to Deng Queddeng (dengqueddeng@gmail.com) on or before February 16, 2011 (Wednesday) so entry permits could be processed.
