Job Opening: Senior Editor/ Deputy Editor for TODAY (Singapore)
Position: Sports Editor/Deputy Editor

Responsibilities:

The Sports Editor/Deputy Editor will be responsible for the quality of sports-related content in TODAY. Among the duties, the candidate will be tasked to select the best local and foreign news reports each day, decide on their positioning, copy edit the reports, work with sub-editors on the display of reports as well as proof read the pages before they finally go to print.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of newspaper editorial experience
  • An excellent command of English
  • A broad and deep knowledge of sports, in particular, EPL, F1, tennis and golf
  • Good organizational skills and time management
  • Strong editing and proofing skills
