We have taken mobile phone, online media, television commercials and SEO to new levels. Google and Yahoo desire to go, in the mobile world, where we’ve already arrived. We are technology leaders in our field. We have no competition locally or globally. We maintain our own digital Film and Television studios in Melbourne and have our own team of Smart Phone and Web development engineers located in Melbourne, Manila and Los Angeles. Responsibilities:
1. Cross-check facts, spelling, grammar, writing style, photos, etc. for final approval of scripts
2. Establish, develop and maintain a formal writing standard
3. Motivate and develop staff
4. Be involved in strategic planning of organization
5. Has strong command of the English language
6. Must work with Management to ensure production numbers are being met and all creative goals are on track
7. Must be highly-skilled at proofreading, copy editing, developmental editing and line editing
8. Hire and train script writers and producers
9. Maintain knowledge of the market and how best to write about the material
Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Journalism, English or Mass Communications/Media/Advertising or equivalent
2. At least 5 years of working experience in editorial, ad copy writing, digital media or related field is required for this position
3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software is a must
4. Knowledge of or interest in 3D, motion graphics and video production editing, as well as strong oral communication skills would be an advantage
