Whether it’s an incident that should see the light of the day or a revelation waiting to be bestowed onto the people, you have to devise an idea, be it in form of live reporting or an interview, a documentary or a sting operation and present it in the most eye opening and eye catching form.
You all love watching the reporters going crazy over nothings and berserk over little things, and then shattering them, don't you?

Rules:
Make a video speaking all u want to portray, displaying thoughts that aroused hundreds of times in your mind. Choose a topic or a theme, and bring out a video which speaks and use your creativity that touches hearts and minds. The video needs to abide by a simple set of rules-
* Teams must submit/upload a video of 3-7 minutes in length.
* Time Limit should be followed. Participants violating the time limit will be penalized by judges.
* Video should be in Hindi or English or both. No other languages will be allowed.
* There is no restriction on the kind of camera used for making the video.
* Preferred format of submission is mpeg2 (dvd quality) or .avi. Other lower resolution formats will also be accepted but might lose out if there is lack of clarity of the visuals.
* Showcase of any kind of obscenity or excessive violence will lead to immediate disqualification.
* The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Team Size: Maximum 7 members
Along with the video the candidates are required to submit a write-up containing the following details -
1. Team name
2. Team members' names
3. College Name
4. Email ID of the Team leader
5. Contact number
6. Topic of the video
7. Length of the video
8. Date of sending (in case you are sending a CD or email)
9. Link of the video (in case you are uploading the video)
Completed videos (accompanied by the name of the college and details of team members) must be submitted before the 10th of March 2011 in one of the following ways:
1. Emailing to nishank.varshney@gmail.com
P.S. – In case your video size is more than 25 MB then you can use one of the other methods.
2. Uploading the movie on www.youtube.com or any other such website and mailing the link to nishank[at]bits-apogee.org
3. Burn it on a CD/DVD and post it to Nishank Varshney 110, Vishwakarma Bhawan BITS PILANI Rajasthan - 333031
Judging Criteria:
* Originality
* Unique perspective
* Effective portrayal of theme
* Content detail
* Editing
* Sound design
* The awareness created by the video
* Overall impact
