Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work on a team to localize the text of upcoming games, in preparation for commercial launch
• Provide ongoing support to games already released, via localization of new content and refinement of existing content
• Work closely with the pre-release and production teams in order to implement their ideas and suggestions
• Operate independently in day-to-day tasks, while still maintaining a team goal-oriented focus
• Report game bugs and glitches, where encountered
• Take feedback from the Aeria Games community as needed, via the forums and volunteers
Qualifications:
• Entry level position, some experience in video game and / or publishing industry a plus
, Educational background that demonstrates sufficient preparation for the position
• Excellent command of English and Chinese languages
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office program suite or similar programs, such as OpenOffice.
• Capable of handling multiple demands from superiors and coworkers, with the ability to balance work on multiple active projects
• Must be a self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a keen ability to multitask
• Knowledge of video games and game structure not required, but very helpful
