Application Deadlines: 24 February 2011 (prose), 2 June 2011 (drama), 1 September 2011 (micro-fiction)
To promote literary culture and cultivate interest in writing, the Hong Kong Public Library invites everyone to participate in the 2011 Annual Youth Workshop for prose, drama, and micro-fiction.
Prose
Chaired by Mr. Kunlun and Ms. Deng Xiaohua, prose workshops will be conducted from 9 April to 21 May 2011. Guest speakers include Yuan Zhaochang and Chen Ziqian. Workshops will be held at Fa Yuen Street Public Library Extension - Activities Room.
Drama
Moderated by Mr. Long/ Tao, guest speakers for the drama workshop include Mo Zhaoru, Huang Yongshi, Pan Shiyun, and Xie Aoshuang. This will be conducted at the City hall Public Library.
Micro Fiction
Conducted between October 15 and November 19, the micro fiction workshop will be moderated by Chen Hong, with guest speakers Lin Haoguang and Yan Peiji. Venue is at the Tsuen Wan Public Library.
Workshops will accommodate 35 participants. Participants are required to fill out and submit the application form (download here) together with samples of works. For more information, call 29284601.
