Founded in July, 1973, Hong Kong Economic Journal (HKEJ) is Hong Kong’s first Chinese newspaper dedicated to coverage and in-depth analysis of financial news and current affairs. We cordially invite high calibre candidates to apply for the following positions:

Sub-Editor, English News Section

Responsibilities:

* Mainly responsible for selecting China business and finance news stories and editing news copies

Requirements:

* Degree Holder in Journalism, Communication, English language or equivalent
* Knowledge of China market not essential but an advantage
* Fast and detail-oriented with a flair for polishing copy
* Minimum 5 years subbing experience in a Business/Finance environment
* Good communication and organizational skills, independent with initiative and able to work under pressure
* Willing to work shifts
