Job Opening: Research Editor for The Corporate Observer (China business content provider based in Singapore)
The Corporate Observer is a content provider dedicated to providing timely, critical information about China to help the “laowai” (foreigners) navigate the sharky waters of the Chinese business world. We are currently developing niche content on the power structure in China, the transport and infrastructure network in China, and the rare earth industry.

We are looking for a Research Editor (full-time) who will:

- work closely with the Editor on content generation for our e-publications
- monitor and report on important and emerging developments in the niche areas
- edit and proof copies from our contributors
- work closely with our office in Beijing

Skills required:

- fluency in Chinese
- ability to write, edit, proofread, research and conduct interviews in English
- knowledge of China an advantage
- familiarity with the rare earth, mining or chemical industry an advantage, but not necessary
- 2 years editorial experience preferred, but fresh graduates may also apply
