Group Editor (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
* Manage team of in-house writers, research analysts, freelance writers, designers and photographers
* Commission, source, write and edit interesting, impartial and opinionated copy (articles, news and reports) for internal/external publications - website and print
* Manage editorial and production workflow - Ensures that deliverables including press materials, white papers, speeches, opinion editorials, meet quality, content and style standards
* Conduct high level interviews with C-level professionals in the property and related sectors
* Train, coach and guide staff
Requirements:
* University Degree
* Atleast 8 years journalism experience - with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
* Impeccable command of the English language - ability to write in a clear and compelling manner that engages and enthuses readers
* Team player that works with minimal supervision, yet delivers on deadlines
* Strong attention to detail, good editing and proofing skills
* Ability to multitask in a fast paced high energy environment
* Confident, articule and with good interpersonal skills - able to build rapport/interview at C-level
* Willingness to travel
* Interest or understanding of property and business topics would be useful
* Strong network of media contacts in South East Asia would be useful
* Ideally worked in online and print environment
