Film South Asia, the festival of Southasian documentaries, calls for entries for the eighth edition of its biennial festival being held in Kathmandu from 29 September to 2 October 2011. Documentaries made in and after January 2009 are eligible for the competitive section.
Early submission deadline for the entries: 31 May 2011 (for films made between January 2009 to April 2010)
Final submission deadline for entries: 30 June 2011 (for films made after April 2010)

We ask non-fiction filmmakers from across the region to mark the following timeline:
1. Early submission deadline for entries: 31 May 2011 (for films made between January 2009 to April 2010)

3. Final selection of entries: 31 July 2011
4. Submission deadline of final print: 31 August 2011
5. Holding of FSA ’11: 29 September – 2 October 2011
