Guide for submitting residency applications

The Artists Residency Program is to provide support for individual artists as well as cultural and art organizations. Application for residence will be occasionally carried and applicants will be selected through our screening process.


Months of application: Occasionally

Application qualifications: A foreign writer with an international reputation

Target genres: Poetry, novel, play, literary criticism, children's book, Korean literature translation into any foreign language

Residence period: Consultation on residence period will be carried out later (a minimum of 15 days)

How to apply: Apply online via e-mail

Selection procedures: Application review (experiences and a writing proposal etc. will be evaluated)

Final applicant announcement:

The result will be individually informed to final applicants.

Matters to be attended to in residency:

The relationship between the selected artist and Seoul Art Space Yeonhui is laid down in contract. Candidates who are accepted can only use the residency and facilities.

You need to pay monthly free of 5,500 won per 3.3m2 (including VAT) for a writing studio.

You should use a writing studio 15 days minimum a month.

You should participate actively in some programs which are run by Seoul Art Space Yeonhui.

Notification:

You have to full fill in the application form and be sure of sending all application materials. The applications will not be returned.
