COLOUR SYMPHONY is an established publishing house that publishes bi-monthly trade publications, Hair for you for me Journal and Beauty Cosmedica. Both magazines are read by all beauticians, nail technicians, health therapists, spa and slimming consultants, dermatologists, registered medical professionals, trichologists, all hairstylists, hair salons and the people that matter in the industry around the country.
Both Hair for you for me Journal and Beauty Cosmedica have a healthy international exposure through our attendance in important industry exhibitions and it’s well-supported by our publication’s distribution to countries like Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, India, UAE, Turkey, UK, USA and China. We are based in Singapore with branches in Malaysia and UAE publishing the Malaysian and Middle East editions respectively.
WRITER (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
* Together with the Publisher, plan and formulate editorial strategies and ideas.
* Attend press and business events (some travelling may be required).
* Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and efficiency when writing, revising, editing, or proofreading copy.
* Meet all deadlines and fulfill scheduling commitments in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
* Work closely with the production team on contents of hair/beauty products for our targeted corporate clients.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Mass Communication or equivalent.
* Fresh graduates may apply.
* Must be creative, with strong conceptual, communication skills and be bilingual in English and Mandarin.
* Strong Interest in keeping updated about beauty and hair trends.
* Be an excellent team player with no attitude.
Benefits:
* 5 days work week from 9 am to 6 pm.
* Starting salary range from S$1,300 to S$1,500
* 14 days annual leave.
* 14 days medical leave.
