Web Editor (Singapore - East - New Industrial Road)
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for writing and developing content for the web
* Crafting of messages of site promotions, email newsletters and online outreach campaigns
* Optimising web content for improved search engine ranking
* Writing and editing site content
* To establish the writing standards, style guides and content plans
* To work with authors and contributors to provide content for the site which appeals to the book community in Asia
* To support the Marketing Department as needed for the development of content
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years in editorial and on-line experience
* Strong knowledge and experience with web writing, search engine optimisation and web analytics (Google Analytics experience preferred)
* Professional experience in newsletters, advertising, print or broadcast
* Basic understanding of website production and design is a must
* Background from online/consumer goods/retail industry is preferred
* Have a strategic and commercial outlook
* Fluent in English and Chinese (for communication in Chinese language media)
