The university reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up these post or to call only limited / suitable candidate for interview. The university also reserve the right to fill up these post either on regular basis or on contract basis exemption being the post of professor, associate professor and statutory officer in which case all appointments will be made on regular basis. The number of posts likely to be filled may vary.

Post is being re-advertised in view of amendments made in the UGC regulation on minimum qualifications for appointment of teacher and other academic staff in the universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education, 2010 and in the light of judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Madan Mohan Sharma and another versus state of Rajasthan and others (2008) 3 SCC 724.
The qualifications are the same as prescribed by the UGC and adopted by the University from time to time. The eligibility of the candidate will be determined on the basis of qualifications acquired by them up to the last date fixed for receipt of application. For ascertaining educational qualification, experience and other conditions for the post advertised, the candidate may visit UGC website and also go through the contents of UGC circular No. F.3-1/2009 dates 28-6-2010.
Candidate already in service should send their application through proper channel. An advance copy along with required certificates / documents and fee etc can be sent directly.
Candidate called for interview will have to come to the place of interview at their own expenses and bring with them their original research papers, degrees and certificates etc. for verification.
The candidate who have earlier applied for these post with reference to previous advertisement is required to apply afresh in view of change in educational qualifications and other conditions by the UGC as adopted by the university in the prescribed form alongwith necessary documents failing which they would have no claim for consideration for the said post. However, they are not required to send the prescribed fee again but only have to mention the advertisement No. & date against which they have earlier applied for the post.
