IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries. We promote sustainable private sector investments and deliver advice to reduce poverty and improve people's lives (www.ifc.org). IFC's East Asia and the Pacific Department is seeking an experienced communications professional to produce regional English-language publications, lead the development of special projects, redevelop web sites, set quality standards and control of editorial services and assist in the execution of a regional communications strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a perfect command of the English language, a background in editing/journalism, and good knowledge of the East Asia and the Pacific region.

Duties and Accountabilities

- Edits English-language press releases, brochures and other marketing/communication materials

- Sets editorial standards and procedures for IFC in East Asia, in coordination with IFC global standards.
