Web Editor
Corporate Marketing is looking for a Web Editor to assist the Chief Editor with content production and web management. The person will be part of the geographically distributed Corporate Marketing team which requires the ability to work individually and collaborate via electronic communication channels such as e-mail, chat, telephone, Live Meetings etc. The person will report to Pilar Lundholm, Chief Marketing Officer.
The ideal candidate has experience of managing a web presence and carrying out communications work in a busy, fast-paced environment. He/she has excellent editorial skills and the ability to write engagingly and convincingly for the web. The person is also proactive, result-oriented and can drive his/her own work forward.
Responsibilities
* Produce, publish and optimize content for tieto.com - text and images
* Support the publishing networks
* Manage access rights and shortcuts
* Search Engine Optimization
* Evaluate the success of the web work, including monitoring key performance indicators, analytics, feedback and participation
* Manage the webmaster's mailbox
* Assist in social media marketing activities
Essential skills and experience
* Fluent in English, preferably a native speaker
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent editorial skills with a sound understanding of writing for the web and engaging online audiences
* Basic knowledge of working with social media as a marketing tool
* Solid experience managing dynamic websites with a content management system.
* Knowledge and understanding of the importance of Search Engine Optimization
* Basic experience of working with Google Analytics
* Familiarity of web design principles such as user experience, usability, accessibility and familiarity of HTML, CSS and Flash.
* Proficiency in web graphics production
Experience: 3 to 5 years.
