Job Title: Aviation Maintenance Publications Editor/Writer

Job Description:

  • Performs full range of aviation technical publications editing and writing tasks
  • Generates aircraft mission systems maintenance manuals
  • Communicates with program stakeholders (internal – Engineering Authority and external – OEMs, Regulatory Bodies...etc)
  • Maintains configuration management

Requirements:

  • Possessing a minimum of ten (10) years aircraft systems related technical editing and writing experience
  • Knowledge of ATA 100, MIL-STD-37874, MIL-STD-40051-1, and MIL-STD-2361C Knowledge of Theory of Operation, Fault Isolation & Troubleshooting, Test & Repair procedures
  • Ability to work under intense stress The candidate reports to a designated Technical Pubs lead of the Engineering Authority.
  • Ability to generate professional reports pertaining to technical publications management and editing activity.
  • As a minimum, the candidate is expected to have an excellent command of:MS Office Software, Electronic Drawing Software, Electronic Editing Software, Aviation Technical Publications
  • Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
