We are looking for a Senior/Editor. Someone who has vast experience in editorial and copywriting, is highly creative, very indpendent and yet able to work well in a team.
SENIOR/EDITOR
Job Description:
* Brainstorm and develop ideas for upcoming issue themes, identify, contact, and collaborate editorially with new and prospective writers, and regularly contribute your own writing and analysis.
* Manage the day to day content gathering and lead the editorial content for the website
* Work with Marketing team to jointly achieve traffic and revenue targets
* Map out editorial plan aligned to business strategy and targets
* Lead and motivate junior staff and freelancers of the editorial team
Requirements:
* 2 to 4 years of independent writing and editing experience publishing under regular deadlines
* Demonstrated ability to thoroughly research stories and topics
* Handling multiple tasks in a fairly organized manner
* Ability to brainstorm effectively with strong-willed editorial collaborators is a major plus
* Possess leadership qualities and good interpersonal skills
* Creative, resourceful and an eye for details
* Thorough, results-oriented and highly driven
* Keen interest for the Beauty and Fashion Industry
* Knowledgeable about wap and web publication
* Candidates with less than 2 years experience but are keen to develop a creative career with MFP will be considered for Editorial Assistant position
