India’s first Liberal Arts Programme has commenced at the Foundation for Liberal And Management Education (FLAME).

FLAME was begun in Pune, India in 2006, as an institute offering degrees at the undergraduate and Master's levels.

The initial appointment will be renewable annually.

We seek an adventurous scholar and teacher, who seeks new challenges and who will display a passion in teaching a new generation of Indian youth.

Due to our growing needs, we invite applicants with experience in English Creative Writing, Rhetoric & Critical Writing and English Literary Studies.

Qualifications and Experience: Candidates with Ph.D.s in hand are welcome, but we are also open to all committed to excellence in teaching.

Pay Scale: A higher starting salary will be considered, in the case of a highly qualified and experienced candidate. A proven record of expertise in the research area will be an added qualification.

FLAME follows a trimester system and faculty responsibilities include, but are not limited, to teaching at least three courses per term, advising students, participating in faculty colloquia and participating in academic administration.
