The words largest single site producer of Ammonia and Urea began its operations in the early seventies. QAFCO today operates four plants and has embarked on further expansion of the plants (Qafco-5) including a Melamine Plant. To meet its operational requirements, it has the following vacant position:
EDITOR (BILINGUAL - ARABIC/ ENGLISH)
Key responsibilities:
• Assist in developing the Companys newsletter and Companys publications and increase media coverage.
• Assist in developing PR Campaigns. Press releases. Media contacts etc.
• Assist in developing and updating the companys website.
• Carry out researches and prepare reports.
• Assist in organizing Companys events.
• Other duties as assigned by Industrial Relations Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities required:
• University Degree (preferably Bachelor/Master Degree in English Literature or Degree in Journalism)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with media, creation of newsletters, brochures and website.
• In depth knowledge and excellent written and oral of English and Arabic language communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills — ability to work with computer applications to handle the job duties effectively.
• Ability to handle tasks in a team atmosphere and to develop cooperation among all members of the staff.
• Must be enthusiastic, professional and committed.
Remuneration package
