Job Description
Impeccable grammar and spelling is mandatory. Passion for reading comes next.
Since the work is online, the ability to write crisp and clear is essential. Amending, rephrasing or redeveloping the writing in response to feedback from the editors would be an integral responsibility.
The writer would be required to create 8 such articles of 110 words each, in a day.
The articles will be about a wide range of products including, but not limited to, consumer goods and services.
The desired candidate profile can be summed up as, 'Can be a bright graduate with Degree or Diploma in English, Mass Communication, Journalism or Advertising. Should have at least 1-3 years of experience in writing for print or online publishing on topics such as consumer goods and/or services.’
Editor
To read product reviews written for international companies and edit them to conform to English grammar rules, content validity and customer guidelines.
Experience: 1 to 3 Years
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibility Areas
1. To understand the scope of B2C/B2B writing (Product Reviews etc.)
2. Ability to understand products with an end user perspective
3. To get familiar with web research techniques
4. To edit product reviews written by writers
5. To discuss feedback with writers
6. To update Quality metrics per writer and maintain trends analysis
7. To conduct feedback presentation sessions and training sessions for new and existing writers
8. Achieve production targets assigned for QA
9. Update production trackers for QA done as part of own production
10. Continually refresh own knowledge as per revised guidelines and customer feedback
11. Work with the team and help team members to continually improve accuracy
12. Be a team player
