Urban Confustions invites Asian Woman writers living in the United States to submit Fiction, Non-Fiction and Poetry for their bi-annual literary journal. Urban Confustions is seeking woman writers who share a global perspective of society and are not restricted or limited by one reality or concept of “home”.
Occasionally we do accept submissions from American authors who have spent a significant amount of time outside the United States.

What is Urban Confustions looking for?
Fiction and Non-Fiction – up to 4,000 words or Poetry- 4-6 poems.
Is Urban Confustions a Magazine?
Yes, it is a literary Journal published bi-annually. We also hold public readings in various American cities twice a year.
Urban Confustions is a collaborative literary effort of Asian Women who have lived in various countries of Asia and have or now live in the U.S.A.
Where do I send my work for consideration?
We are thrilled you want to share you work with us, and we look forward to reading. Please email us with your work attached in doc. format. Cover letter is optional, but please tell us something about yourself and send a short bio with the email. Please include page numbers. Emails can be sent to urbanconfustions@gmail.com
Are Simultaneous Submissions allowed?
Of course, Urban Confustions is a group of emerging writers, and we know how hard it is to get recognition for your work. Please inform us immediately if you have placed your work elsewhere, and accept our heartiest congratulations!
Does Urban Confustions accept previously published work?
Yes, we accept previously published work as long as the author has copyrights on her work and is permitted to have them re-published. In other cases we request authors to gain the copyrights before submitting their work to Urban Confustions.
Please allow 6- 8 weeks for a response. We look forward to reading and publishing your work !
