Responsibilities:

We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual to join us as Project Editor for the Higher and Professional Education, Publishing department.

* To oversee the publishing process from manuscript to printed book
* o copyedit and proofread manuscripts and page proofs
* To plan production schedules and manage budgets in an effective way
* To manage projects and liaise with various stakeholders including writers, freelance designers, copyeditors and proofreaders
* To carry out editorial administrative duties

Requirements:

* Has a good university degree and an excellent command of English
* Meticulous and has an eye for detail
* Pro-active, has good organizational skills and able to work under pressure
* Candidates with at least 2 years of editorial experience will have an advantage
