PROJECT SUMMARY AND POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Work as a part of a team to compile a newsletter aimed at clients in the fixed income or equity market by selecting relevant Reuters news and editing them to conform to the newsletter format.
• Ensure the newsletter is pertinent to the following trading day and showcases Reuters' breaking news, analysis and other high value content.
• Ensure deadlines are met and be able to report on the status and schedule of the newsletter at all times.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, pay attention to details; ensuring clients get accurate data and stories, in line with Reuters principles and standards.
• Monitor news flow, anticipate and plan work for the day.
• Proof-read and review newsletters multiple times to ensure accurate content, spelling and grammar.
• Communicate effectively via phone and email with editors and contributors on a daily basis and escalate any problems promptly.
• Maintain and constantly update details of clients interested in the newsletters.
