Two-year full-time Lecturer position in Chinese Language to begin September 1, 2011, renewable. Review of applications will begin November 5, 2010 and will continue until the position is filled.
Responsibilities include Chinese language instruction at all levels and curriculum development; department and university service, including advising; three courses per semester.
Requirements: Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English; experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching Chinese at the college level in the U.S.; demonstrated commitment to language teaching and curriculum development. M.A. required; preference given to applicants with special training in Chinese language pedagogy, linguistics, or a related field.
