About Siyahi

Siyahi is India’s leading literary consultancy, based in Jaipur. Though it is a literary agency but we are not content with just selling books to the publishers. Siyahi means ink in Urdu and we are involved in activities which splatter the ink! Our activities range from working as literary agents, book translations, develop proposals and content, providing creative solutions, projects for book publicity, editorial services, creating events, programming festivals and planning workshops. We are at a mail’s distance for anyone who has stimulated ‘literary’ hormones. For us, apart from the main ingredients of professionalism and transparency, the fun element is essential for a comfortable work relationship. We find simply joys of professional life in creativity. We have something or the other for the publishing houses, authors, readers, editors, translators or anyone with the bookish bent of mind.

We specialize in creating literary events based on unique themes, and execute them with much passion. We plan and programme workshops, festivals, book-readings, play readings, performances or anything with some connotation to the varied forms of literature. We are persevering to propagandize a reading and writing addiction especially among the younger lot. For this we counsel and configure programmes for literary, non-profit, educational and corporate organizations.
