Join us in October as Serene Wee talks about her latest book, PRESENT, a novel for young teens.
PRESENT is a heart-warming tale about a boy and his family, set in tuition mad Singapore where kids go for enrichment lessons because they have to and turn up for football because they want to.
Other guests include Mohamed Pitchay Gani, President of Angkatan Sasterawan ‘50, and specialist teacher Nora Yuan-de Silva.
The Singapore Children’s Book Club is a joint collaboration between the National Book Development Council of Singapore and The Arts House. The Singapore Children’s Book Club is a lead-up for the annual Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) which will be held from 26th to 29th May 2010.
