To encourage postgraduate students to understand the Right To Education (RTE) Act and involve them in exploring practical solutions for the effective implementation of the Act, Karnataka Child Rights Observatory (KCRO) is holding a State-level essay competition. The topic is “RTE Act and Karnataka Rules.” The essays (1,500 to 2,000 words) should be either in Kannada or English. The first three prize-winning essays will be given cash awards. The entries should be sent through respective department heads/principals of the colleges to KCRO, c/o. Child Rights Trust, No. 4606, 6 {+t} {+h} Floor, High Point IV, Palace Road, Bangalore 560001.
