You drive the publication and distribution of the Pointer magazine and other ad hoc publications to showcase MINDEF/SAF. In this role, you establish a vast network of contributors, scout for quality articles, select and edit submitted articles as well as conduct research on featured personality/authors. You also optimise the budget for such publications and manage the Pointer websites (including the fora contained within).
You must have a Degree in Arts or Humanities, preferably in English Literature, Language, History or Political Science. Knowledge in current and military affairs, a good command of the English language and good writing skills as well as an eye for details and formatting are essential.
