Essay Writing Competition 2010
National Museum of Science and technology, Lahore in collaboration with Anjuman-Brai-taleem, Lahore and Pakistan Science foundation, Islamabad is holding its 23rd Consecutive Annual Science Competitions this October, 2010.
General Public and Students are invited to write essays on the following topics:-
(a) Open TO ALL: in your opinion what will be the effects of (upto 1500 words) unprecedented flood on the economy of Pakistan? In open category 1st, and 3rd position winners will be given cash prizes of Rs. 5000/- Rs. 3000/- & Rs. 2000/- respectively.
(b) For students (only): if Mobile Phones was not invented……?(upto 700 words)
In three students categories the prizes will be Rs. 3000-/- Rs. 2000/- & Rs. 1000/- (for 1st, 2nd and 3rd position winners) respectively in each category.
The Essays written in English or Urdu must reach the Director, National Museum of Science and Technology near Engineering University, G.T. Road, Lahore-54890, positively by 24th September, 2010. Students must send their essays through their head of institutions giving their residential postal address and telephone NO: (if available).
