Bloomberg Hong Kong Emerging Artists Program's Call for Applications

Prize/Payment: $100,000, allowances, etc.

Organised by the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation (YAF), the Bloomberg Emerging Artists Programme is a unique opportunity for an emerging artist / group to receive funding and supports in their creation of innovative art (including performing arts). The programme provides a three-month residency period, including grant money and living allowance, for the selected artist / group to develop their work, culminating in an exhibition or performance for the public. The project aims at funding a creative arts project and cultivating the innovative arts scene in Hong Kong.

The selected artist(s) will receive:

- $100,000 for the creation of work
- A monthly allowance of $18,000 for the 3 month residency period (Summer 2011)
- A public exhibition / performance organised and supported by YAF and Bloomberg
