Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2011

Six days, 150 events, 226 schools, 840 exhibitors, half a million titles on display to 236,000 visitors

840 exhibitors participated in ADIBF in 2010 leading to a 32% increase on the 2009 figures. There was a 22% increase in the number of countries participating, rising to 63 from 52 in 2009. Overall, more than 1200 guests participated in the professional and cultural programme of events on offer.

With more than 236,000 publishing professionals and members of the public visited the fair, which true to its word made the fairgrounds buzz with books and book lovers. Successfully delivering a balance between professional development and networking sessions for the publishing industry and the opportunity for the general public to find out more about books, the fair continues to be the region’s premier destination for book-lovers.
