The organizers would like to make a special mention of an award “Editor’s Acclaim” won by Asmara Malik for Other Women, whose submission was not a short story but a collection of character sketches, written so beautifully and eminently that it received the highest rating by all Judges. Though it cannot be considered for The Piper, but will be published under the section “Editor’s Acclaim”.
Scribble congratulates all winners and welcomes the Piper II to join Scribble for yet another exhilarating competition, scheduled in October! Scribble would also like to thank Taimur Altaf Arbab (Piper I) for his cooperation and hard work in selecting the next Piper. A job well done, Taimur! The stories will be published in the coming issue ( end of September, 2010).
