With submissions from the United States and all over the world (including Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan), the Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE) Foundation, Inc., a non-profit arts and entertainment organization, and Fox Entertainment Group (FOX) proudly announces the winners for the prestigious 11th annual CAPE New Writers Awards. The CAPE New Writers Awards is sponsored by FOX with support from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Selected winners, in both Screenwriting and Television Writing categories, will each receive a cash prize of $4,000, Final Draft software, a Staged Reading of their winning script as well as meetings with prominent entertainment industry producers and executives.

This award gives these writers unparalleled access to Hollywood professionals”, states Steve Tao, president of CAPE, “The CAPE New Writers Awards is also an opportunity to cultivate and recognize excellence in the realm of film and television writing by highly talented writers of Asian and/or Pacific Islander heritage, it is a pleasure to honor these talented individuals as we herald the new generation of Asian and Pacific Islanders entering into the world of entertainment.”
