Syrian Novelist Hanna Mina Wins Mohamed Zafzaf Prize for Arabic Literature
Ministry of Culture held on Wednesday a celebration honoring the Syrian Novelist Hanna Mina for winning 'Mohamed Zafzaf Prize for Arabic Literature', granted by the Moroccan Assilah Forum Foundation. The prize was awarded to Mina in recognition of his works and his contribution to the enrichment of Arabic literature, as part of the 32nd Assilah International Cultural Festival held recently in Morocco. Worth USD 10,000, "Mohamed Zafzaf Prize for Arabic Literature" is awarded every three years alternately with the Tchicaya U Tam'si-Award for African poetry and Buland al-Haidari Prize of young Arab poets.
