Short Stories - Under 2K Please do not submit anything that is considered over a PG13 rating. Please also read General Guidelines. No payment

* Supernatural fairy tales (preferred) are paranormal short stories inspired by a classic fairy tale. These are not really rewritten fairy tales, but paranormal stories inspired by a fairy tale's moral, characters and/or story. They can be cross genre (romantic, suspense, humor). Please include the fairy tale and the paranormal element when submitting.

* Fairy Stories - short stories about fairies are also welcome.

* Fairy tale-style paranormal - These are paranormal stories that were not inspired by a fairy tale but read like a fairy tale/light fantasy.

Articles - Anything about classic/modern fairy tales or the supernatural. Profiles on fantasy artist and fairy tale authors are also welcome. Under 500 words preferred. Pays $10.00 (Paypal only)

Poems - Inspired by a fairy tale or about fairies. Any style. No payment

General Guidelines:

* Please do not submit anything that is considered over a PG13 rating.
* Electronic Submissions only, accepted year round.
* Submission can be previously published and/or a simultaneous post from your blog/website (As long as you own the rights.)
* Nonexclusive rights (you can publish it anywhere afterwards) but it will remain on my blog until I delete it or you ask me in writing to remove it. You keep all rights to your work.
* Send submission in the body of the email, no attachments please. Single space - double space between paragraphs.
* Include the fairy tale inspiration for the poem or story in the email.
* No payment for poetry or fiction at this time, however, all accepted authors will be introduced at the beginning of the month, have a include a link to your site or blog at the end of their post and as a permanent link on the blog. Supernatural fairy tales blog has a modest but steady subscription/e-mail/followers readership.
* SFT reserves the right to edit all accepted material for: grammar, spelling, punctuation and formatting.
* Reasons you might not be accepted as a guest on Supernatural Fairy tales blog: too many grammar problems to address, story doesn't fit the theme, the story is too "adult", the story is too confusing to follow.
* If you have graphics - please list credits and links. If you do not have graphics, SFT reserves the right to add graphics to the post.
* You will get a response about your submission within 4 weeks. If you haven't heard back by then, please resubmit, it must have not reached us.
