M. P. Prashanth Receives the Prabhakaran Memorial Journalism Award
M. P. Prashanth will receive Prabhakaran Memorial Journalism Award, instituted by C. Prabhakaran Memorial Trust, at a function on September 3, 2010. Prashanth, a special correspondent for Indian Express, was chosen for his outstanding contribution to journalism and will bring home RS10,001 reward. The award committee consisted of Former Deputy Director Public Relations Department Puthoormadam Chandran, Janmabhoomi Managing Editor P. Balakrishnan and Calicut Press Club President R Madhu Sankar.
