VSC awards a number of Fellowships for 4-week residencies throughout the year. Open to all artists and writers, the Full Fellowship application deadlines are February 15th, June 15th, and October 1st. In addition to VSC Awards, a variety of special fellowships are also available for full or partial funding as well as specific international fellowships with deadlines on April 1st.

We are currently full through the summer with limited residencies available in fall of 2010. Applicants are encouraged to pick dates after November 2010. If you can only attend a summer residency, you are welcome to apply for 2011 and 2012.

Vermont Studio Center Awards

Sixteen fellowship awards are open to all artists and writers based on merit as represented in the portfolio or manuscript.

Forugh Farrokhzad Award

One 2-week award for an emergent writer who is part of the Iranian diaspora in Amrika and who will be a first-time resident at VSC. Award includes a $125 stipend.
