Every month we will select a ‘Star Letter’ and the author will receive a small prize of £30.

We will choose the winner one month after the end of the month that your letter was published in. For example, if your letter was published in July we will choose a winner at the end of August.

Our decision will be based on how well the letter is written as well as the popularity of the letter in terms of the number of comments and the votes received.

Competition Rules – Terms and Conditions

1. Entries must be written in English and have at least 250 words.
2. This competition is open to UK citizens aged 18 and over.
3. One winner will be chosen at the end of every month.
4. The winner must provide a valid UK address so that payment can be made.
5. The prize will be paid by cheque.
6. Multiple entries are allowed.
7. We reserve the right to change the competition rules at any time.
8. The competition winner will be announced on the winners page on this site.
9. If we do not hear from you within 28 days of an e-mail being sent to inform you that you have won you will lose your rights to claim the prize.
10. The competition is not open to employees of Meanwhile Media nor their family.
11. The judges decision is final.
