China Donates Rs.53.6 Lakh for Tagore Gallery

A generous donation, in the amount of Rs.53.6 Lakh, has been awarded by the Chinese government for the establishment of a gallery on nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The gallery will be called 'Rabindranath and China.' "As far as I know, Chinese is the language which has done the most for Tagore’s publications," said Mao Siwei, the consul general of China in Kolkata.
